BIOGRAPHY

Staff Sergeant Isaac Cox is an Administrator assigned to the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 730, at the University of Pittsburgh. Responsible for ensuring all Cadet records are accurate and they are taken care of administratively.

Staff Sergeant Isaac Cox completed Basic Military Training at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas in December 2016. Upon completion, SSgt Isaac Cox was sent to Keesler Air Force Base, in Mississippi to attend technical training in Administration. Graduating Tech School in February of 2017, SSgt Isaac Cox was then assigned to Joint Base San Antonio, Texas for his first duty station and began working at the 26th OSS Support Squadron in the CSS as direct support to the Squadron CC. After 11 months at the 26th OSS to include time served at the FAC, SSgt Isaac Cox was PCA’d to the Air Force Installation Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) over on Kelly AFB in January of 2018 where he worked in the CSS to support 1k plus personnel within the building as well as multiple GSU’S, and Ten Detachments spread across the world. During his time at AFIMSC SSgt Isaac Cox attended Park University and maintained a 4.0 GPA in his pursue to obtain an B.S degree in Health Care Management. SSgt Isaac Cox was also able to promote twice during his time at AFIMSC. Earinng Below the Zone (BTZ) which promoted him 6 months in advance from his peers. Since earning BTZ this made SSgt Isaac Cox eligible to test the following year in which he was able to capitalize on the opportunity and earn a selection to Staff Sergeant. Passing Airman Leadership school and earning his 7 Skill level without any setbacks in 2020.

2019- Coined by General Dave Goldfein for assisting in luggage detail for I-WEPTAC.
2020- Earning an AFAM from one of the Directorate’s I was supporting Administratively.
